The Future of Storytelling with Interactive Video
/LDV Capital invests in people building businesses powered by visual technologies. We thrive on collaborating with deep tech teams leveraging computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to analyze visual data. We are the only venture capital firm with this thesis. We regularly host Vision events – check out when the next one is scheduled.
Every year we meet up with about 600 entrepreneurs, researchers, marketers, executives, startups, and investors at our LDV Vision Summit to discuss the most important, interesting, and applied aspects of visual technologies.
At our very first Summit, we discussed the possibility to make money on video production, the following year it was a heated discussion about video metrics and analytics, then it was time to talk about the streaming game. In 2018, VR & mixed reality platforms were the hottest topics. Last year, we focused specifically on interactivity and the future of storytelling. If you watched “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” on Netflix, you know the gist.
Even if you missed our LDV Vision Summit in 2019 you can still watch Rebecca Paoletti, CEO & co-founder of CakeWorks, discussing this topic with Dan Garraway, the co-founder of WireWax, Tal Zubalsky, CPO & co-founder of Eko, and Beth-Ann Eason, the president of Innovid.
How much interactivity is too much? How do we handle video standards and measurements? Is all video storytelling meant to be inherently social? These are some of the questions Rebecca asked our panelists.
